My husband and I had our reception here at Sample Space in October 2021, and it was truly everything we could have wanted and more! Emily and the rest of the crew here at the venue were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with. Emily was an incredible day-of coordinator for us - she answered our (many) questions thoroughly and was so helpful with the set up, vendor communication, and all the other important details you don't want to be worrying about on your special day. :)
When we first toured the venue, we fell in love with all of the windows and the open garage doors that faced the riverfront. We were excited about how we could truly make the space our own, along with the guidance of Emily's expertise. Sample Space has the perfect location on The Banks for accessing many of our favorite downtown spots, especially with our hotel block and streetcar stop all within a block of the venue.
If you are looking for an event venue where you can bring your Cincinnati vision to life with the help of an excellent coordinator, we highly recommend Sample Space! Their pricing was beyond reasonable for the location, the venue was flexible when our plans changed due to COVID, and we loved how we could make it our own while still having Emily's help along the way. We will never forget how wonderful our reception was here, and our guests continue to tell us how much they loved it, too. We can't say enough wonderful things about Sample Space! :)

Perfect venue and location for a fun wedding reception! Everyone enjoyed appetizers & drinks on the patio with an amazing background of the river. There was plenty of room for all the guests, DJ and dancing. Emily & Kerry were always available for anything we needed. AC Marriott was steps away for our guests to stay.

The location of the space is fantastic! Located right next to Schmidlapp lawn, we had the ability to rent the lawn space to have our wedding ceremony outside and then move our reception indoors without the additional need for our guests to travel to a new location. This also allowed a great opportunity to take some awesome bridal photos on The Banks with a great back drop! Kerry and her team were absolutely wonderful to work with! Kerry is extremely organized, proactive and prompt with communication. My main concern was the safety of our guests hosting an event during COVID-19. Her team was well versed in the CDC guidelines and recommendations to ensure a safe event. Kerry and her team provided great insight into making the vision of our wedding come to life by providing suggestions and recommendations around lighting, and placement of decorations to ensure our event held true to our vision. I highly recommend hosting an event at Sample Space, 10/10!

As a leading catering company for 36 years in the tri state area, we recently used Sample Space for our “Christmas in July” party for obvious reasons. They are super easy to work with. The space it open for you to make it want you want and they have lounge furniture you can rent at reasonable prices. We got lucky with a lovely evening and we’re able to open the glass garage doors and place the bar on the terrace looking out over the banks. We as a catering company work at dozens of spaces and consider this one as a fav. You will too!
